Founding bands

The bands who got it off the ground

All of them book their own shows. All of them have done the miles. All of them are here to make it easier for whoever comes next.

Riff-driven alt-rock with teeth — UK

A three-piece who don’t sound much like anyone else on the circuit, and have spent the last few years proving it the hard way — up and down the UK, festival fields included.

Debut album Breaking Out was produced by Grammy winner Mike Exeter and picked up 8/10 in Classic Rock; Fireworks called them “Royal Blood if they wrote good songs”. Single “She Said” held three weeks on the Planet Rock main playlist. Live, they’ve headlined Crazy Cowboy 60, taken main support on the Hearts & Hand Grenades tour, near-sold-out the Brickmakers in Norwich, and played Wildfire, Hard Rock Hell XVIII and Call of the Wild. A second album is due around the turn of 2026/27.

No Setting Sun

Classic rock ‘n’ roll energy, modern post-grunge weight — Derby, UK

A four-piece out of the Midlands, formed in 2018, who built their name as a live act first — sharing stages with Marisa and The Moths, Oli Brown, Black Spiders, Black Lakes and These Wicked Rivers.

Debut single “The Lions Fight” was picked up by BBC Introducing; debut EP From the Earth took 8/10 from ERB Magazine. “Old Foes” and “Reach The End” both got extensive regional and national radio play, and a new EP is due in October. If you like Alter Bridge, Soundgarden, Velvet Revolver or The Wildhearts, you already know where this sits.

More being invited

Big Noise isn’t a sign-up list — bands are invited or approved by the founding members. We’re currently approaching a small number of experienced, self-booking bands to join the founding group.

If you book your own shows, deliver live, and treat venues and crews properly, we’d rather hear from you than not.
